What time is check in?

Check in is available from 15:00 each afternoon.

Can I get an early check in?

Early check in may be available on request, there may be a fee for this though.

Why can't I check in early?

We can’t allow early check in unfortunatly. Travellers to depart up until 1100 and we need time to thoroughly clean incoming guest rooms, including additional cleaning protocols with the Covid 19 virus around.

Do you have car parking at the hotel?

Yes we do have car parking at the hotel. It is free and limited to around 16 vehicles. We ask you to help us and other guests by parking sensibly.

What time is check out?

You can check out up until 11:00 on the morning of your departure.

Can I get a late check out?

Yes depending on demand you can get a late checkout with advanced warning. We may charge you extra for this service.

Do you allow dogs at the hotel?

Yes we do allow dogs at the hotel. We make a small charge for this to cover the additional cleaning required.

Are you close to the beach?

Yes we are close to the beach. It’s just a five minute walk from the free public beach and we are right next door to The Tunnels beaches.

Do you serve dinner?

Yes we do serve dinner from 6:30pm daily.

Do you have a kids menu?

Yes we do have a kids menu, with meals from £8 per child.

Do you offer room service?

Yes we do offer room service. We have a seprate room service menu and apply a supplement of 15% on any delivery.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served daily from 07:30am until 09:30am and later from 08:00am to 10:00am at the weekend.

Do you have a charge point for electric cars?

We do not have a charge point for electric cars as yet. We are looking into this for the summer.

Do you offer Afternoon Tea?

Yes we do offer Afternoon Tea by appointment. Please see our Afternoon Tea page for more information.

Do you have a lift?

Yes we do have a lift. The lift operates to all floors.

Is your building step free?

Yes the building is mostly step free. We have a ramped access at the front and a lift operates to all floors. There are a small number of bedrooms that require four steps to be climbed.

Are you licenced?

Yes, we have licenced with a well stocked bar, including local beers, draught lagers, wines and spirits.

Do you cater for gluten free diets?

Yes we do cater for gluten free diets. We have many options for breakfast, coffee and cake, lunch, Afternoon Tea and dinner. Our dishes can usually be modified and chef is happy to discuss any dietary requirements.

Do you cater for vegan diets?

Yes we have many vegan options, including breakfast, lunch, Afternoon Tea and dinner.

Are you near a Train station?

We are 30 minutes from our nearest  train station at Barnstaple. From there you can connect using local buses (every half hour daytime or taxi).

Can I leave my car whilst I visit Lundy?

Sadly you can not leave your car whist you visit other places. Carparking is limited and only available to resident guests.

Can you store bicycles overnight?

Yes, you can store bicycles overnight. We offer this free with prior arrangement.

Can I have a sea view?

Although a stones throw from the nearby beaches, we do not have a sea view. The hotel overlooks another property at the front and residential housing at the rear.
