We are proud to offer one of North Devon’s most complete wedding venues at The Carlton. We have a fantastic building with numerous event spaces, a spacious restaurant and elegant modern rooms to house any guests that have travelled down for your big day.
We pride ourselves on offering hospitality to the highest degree, with a range of full wedding packages to ensure that your wedding celebration will be one to be remembered. We are very experienced event managers, here to help however we can. We’ll be as hands on as you like, or step back and make sure that everything runs smoothly, behind the scenes, on your wedding day.
Following extensive investment and refurbishment, we proudly offer some amazing value packages, starting at only £35 per person. These are available all year round and with a variety of catering options for your special wedding day.

Our hands-on owners are happy to help personally supervise your wedding, from enquiry through planning stage, and to successful delivery of an amazing wedding day. We have a professional, friendly hospitality team, all working hard to ensure that you and your guests are wowed!

Wedding Packages
Our most popular wedding packages include room hire, drinks on arrival, wine with your food, a drink to toast the happy couple, music and dancing as well as the main food element. To build on this you will want to consider other options such as table decorations and flowers, dressed chairs, master of ceremonies for the day, occasional music and live band. We also offer free accommodation* for the wedding couple as well as great deals for your guests staying over.

The Carlton can really help add to your special day to make it truly memorable. We work with local partners and can arrange the following extras:
