Here at The Carlton, we work with local and national organisations to plan and deliver events at the hotel; from a simple meeting room for a handful of members to one of our bigger event room spaces, with capacity for up to 150 people, we can accommodate groups of all sizes.

We offer well-proportioned event spaces and our friendly team will do everything to make you and your members feel welcome. Event spaces are private and kitted out with the necessary facilities to ensure a successful club and society event. For those organisations from further afield seeking to make a two-day event, talk to us about your plans and we can arrange a package that includes an overnight stay, food and even options for activities or excursions that would complement your event.

It’s not just our great event spaces that are attractive, but the flexibility that the hotel offers as a venue. We can arrange just a room, or provide some catering – from coffee and snacks to finger food menus and right up to providing a lunch or dinner to break your event with.

Events Planner

Our free, in house, planning service will be happy to advise and recommend ideas to make your event complete. Whether it’s choosing the right menu, room set up, layouts, additional services, staffing levels or service times, we can help. We love to meet with you in person to fully understand your precise requirements, but we recognise this isn’t always possible.

Our modern facilities have been purposely rebuilt with meetings, seminar and organisation events in mind. Small touches like plenty of sockets, new glazing for improved soundproofing, Wi-Fi throughout and easy accessibility mean that your event is stress-free.
