Burns Night Supper at The Carlton, Ilfracombe
Join us on Thursday 25th January to celebrate Robbie Burns, with another exceptional six course Scottish supper in The Brasserie. A true taste of Scotland is served including classics such as Cullen Skink (smoked haddock & potato cream soup), haggis with neeps and tatties, Exmoor Park beef fillet with a whisky peppercorn sauce, fresh salmon fillet, Cranachan and a honey whisky parfait. To round off dinner a selection of Scottish cheeses, chutney and crackers, all finished with coffee and truffles.
The bard Robert Burns is celebrated north and south of the border on the anniversary of his birth in 1759. These celebratory suppers started on the fifth anniversary of his death. Our tribute is quite informal and is focussed on the food offer, with of course a dram or two!
We’ll be toasting the haggis as part of our evening of good food and good company. Let us know of any dietary requirements as we can provide alternatives, such as gluten free, and vegan options.
Arrive for 6:30pm, canapes and a whisky cocktail included – Rob Roy or glass of fizz
