Burns Night Supper at The Carlton, Ilfracombe
Join us on Saturday, 24th January, as once again we celebrate Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns, with an extraordinary six-course Scottish Supper in The Brasserie.
Experience a true taste of Scotland, featuring classics like Cullen Skink, haggis with neeps and tatties, Exmoor National Park beef fillet with a whisky peppercorn sauce, fresh salmon fillet with scallops, Clootie Dumpling, raspberry Cranachan, and a Tipsy Laird.
To round off your meal a selection of Scottish cheeses, chutney, and crackers, followed by coffee and whisky truffles.
We’ll be honouring the bard Robert Burns, whose legacy is celebrated far and wide on the anniversaryof his birth in 1759. These special suppers originated on the fifth anniversary of his death, and our tribute continues the tradition in a relaxed style, centred on exceptional food — accompanied, naturally, by a dram or two!
