Events like hen parties, baby showers, birthdays or anniversaries, where you can invite family, friends and colleagues to tea in the relaxed atmosphere of our Brasserie.\u00a0 Of course, afteternoon tea is a quintessential English treat. Introduced to the good folk of England by Anna, the peckish Duchess of Bedford, in the 1840’s. A way of bridging the gap in meals between lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n
Today you can join us at The Carlton for a delicious homemade afternoon tea with the classic Devonshire element, where the cream goes on first, of course. And just like Anna you\u2019ll leave satisfied and full of our complete Afternoon Tea offer.<\/p>\n
We are pleased to be able to offer gluten free, vegan and plant free alternatives subject to a minimum number.<\/p>\n
There are five key elements to our Afternoon Tea menu<\/a>.
