Nestled along the picturesque coastline sits in the quaint town of Ilfracombe, gifted with a burst of new life, complimented by it&#8217;s Victorian coastal charm, ever more beautiful in the light of the new season.<\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span>North Devon Seaside<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>Visitors of North Devon this Easter won&#8217;t be able to resist a seaside visit, and with such a wide choice of local beaches to visit, you&#8217;ll be spoilt for choice. Most local to Ilfracombe is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tunnelsbeaches.co.uk\/\">Tunnels Beaches<\/a>. Hand carved in the 1820s, not only are visitors offered all the usual fun of the seaside in rugged surroundings, but the historical area goes back to the Victorian period and can be an educational visit with information boards dotted along the coastline. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If it&#8217;s adrenaline that you&#8217;re looking for,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2outdoor.co.uk\/\">H2 Outdoor<\/a> at Mortehoe offer a range of exciting activities from kayak hire and guided tours to stand up paddle board lessons. For the more experienced surfer, Woolacombe beach is one of the best locations to take to the waves and only a ten minute drive from Ilfracombe. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>If the sea isn&#8217;t your thing, you can still enjoy the other aspects of the beach. Rock pools and beachcombing are nature&#8217;s free scavenger hunts, there&#8217;s nothing more rewarding than finding your own beautiful shell as a reward! Or you could get involved with a local <a href=\"https:\/\/plasticfreenorthdevon.org\/beach-cleans\">beach clean<\/a> and help protect our beaches from washed up litter and debris, a truly rewarding experience.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span>Places to Visit at Easter<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>We are never short of places to visit in Ilfracombe and this Easter is no different. <a href=\"https:\/\/ilfracombeaquarium.co.uk\/\">Ilfracombe Aquarium<\/a> offers an educational experience while letting you get up close to some fish that also exist in our own harbour waters. Only a short trip away, you can ride the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cliffrailwaylynton.co.uk\/\">Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway<\/a>, the world&#8217;s highest and the steepest fully water powered railway in the world dating all the way back to 1888.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>You could visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilfracombemuseum.co.uk\/\">Ilfracombe Museum<\/a> to learn more about the rich history of the town and to explore the vast collections and specimens on display. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/search?query=My+location%2C+Ilfracombe+EX34+8AR%2C+UK&amp;lat=51.06782927743829&amp;lon=-4.089716708567119\">National Trust<\/a> sites always look stunning, but Spring is one of the best times to visit the various houses and gardens and we are lucky enough to have a lot of local places to visit. If garden trips are among your favourite things to do, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rhs.org.uk\/gardens\/rosemoor?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=17599895718&amp;utm_adgroup=136955031086&amp;utm_term=rhs%20rosemoor&amp;utm_content=606752020938&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQiA6fafBhC1ARIsAIJjL8ld5Oe172_rpBum-LRPO5s4s4LYIeZTkaJoWzslG88i68VAgjT1X7YaAjZUEALw_wcB&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds\">RHS Garden Rosemoor<\/a> also looks particularly stunning at this time of year. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>North Devon is also well known for the stunning walks that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep. From the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk\/\">South West Coastal Path<\/a> spanning 630 miles in total passing through a variety of towns, pubs and shops to the nearby Tarka Trail, offering a safe and easily accessible route inspired by the route of Tarka the otter and spanning 180 miles, we certainly aren&#8217;t short of gorgeous treks, no matter how far you are able to go, there&#8217;s a path for everyone. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span>Easter Events <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span>There\u2019s an abundance of local events to partake in all over North Devon this year including traditional Easter treasure hunting at many venues across the county.
