There’s so much to do in North Devon, and along the adventure coast. We\u2019ve put together a small list of some of our favourite things, especially for you to enjoy while staying with us.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Head to the Beach<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

What is better than a beach holiday? We have glorious beaches right on our doorstep, including nearby Woolacombe<\/a>, voted one of the best in the world (named by TripAdvisor<\/a>). Enjoy long strolls along the hot sand, splashing in the waves, and building sandcastles.<\/p>\n

There are miles and miles of clifftop walks along every inch of the coastline too.<\/p>\n

The sunshine is above average in the Southwest, so don\u2019t forget the suntan lotion. Sizzle on one of our beaches at your leisure.<\/p>\n

North Devon Wake Park<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If you fancy something a little more adventurous, then head across to visit the Wake and Aqua Park<\/a> in Bideford. Something for all of the family, from absolute beginner to the experienced wake-surfer. You’ll get wet, definitely. You’ll have fun, guaranteed!<\/p>\n

Open all year round, weather permitting.<\/p>\n

Sea Safari<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Get out and explore the amazing North Devon coastline from the water with Ifracombe Sea Safari<\/a>. Wales, dolphins and porpoises have been spotted recently. Spot the seals basking on the rocks, explore smuggler caves and lighthouses. Why not visit Lundy island<\/a> or choose a fishing trip.<\/p>\n

There’s so much to do on the water.<\/p>\n

Coasteering<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0An incredible adventure along the coastline. A mixture of scrambling, sea-level cliff jumping, wild swimming and hiking. The perfect all-round activity to get you heart racing. No previous experience required but you need to be a confident swimmer, ideal for people of all ages.<\/p>\n

We have a number of local companies offering coasteering, we recommend Rock & Rapid<\/a> or Coastal Adventures<\/a>. They both offer range of other activities, such as paddle boarding<\/a>, surfing, climbing, high ropes, abseiling, archery and even axe throwing<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Ultimate Adventure Centre<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The name is pretty much on the tin. Head to the nearby Ultimate Adventure Centre<\/a> and enjoy everything from mountain boarding to rifle shooting, zip wires to sup boarding, surfing to coasteering.<\/p>\n

The ultimate assault course is something that has to be tried, and the high wires aren’t for the faint-hearted.<\/p>\n

In North Devon<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

So what do we have on offer? Picture postcard villages<\/a>, acres of woodlands, quaint harbours<\/a> and the unbeatable beauty of Exmoor<\/a>. We\u2019re right between the awesome Atlantic Ocean and the spectacular moors, we know you’ll love it as much as we do.<\/p>\n

Make sure you have a proper cream tea, we do offer a rather special one, please ask for more details – we also offer an Afternoon Tea<\/a> menu. As long as you have yours the Devon way, cream on first!<\/p>\n

What Else?<\/h3>\n

Other local attractions include The Big Sheep<\/a>, The Milky Way Adventure Park<\/a>, Exmoor Zoo<\/a>, Quince Honey Farm<\/a>, Wildlife & Dinosaur Park<\/a> and Watermouth Castle<\/a>, get out and explore! Maybe try Junglaroo<\/a> if you have smaller kids.<\/p>\n

Air Extreme<\/a> is close by, a fantastic Trampoline Park<\/a> in Barnstaple<\/a>. Interconnected trampolines and adrenaline filled jump activities. Jump, flip and tumble before heading to the\u00a0Hangout Cafe<\/a>.<\/p>\n
